1. Coconut Oil

2. Tea Tree Oil

Yet another oil that fights microbes and soothes inflammation tea tree has been used to treat skin issues for centuries, dandruff included. Mix a few drops of it with your regular shampoo in a cup and rub it into your scalp. In about 5 minutes rinse it out well.

If you have sensitive skin, you can also add a few drops of coconut oil to the mix to make it more moisturizing. Since tea tree oil can be pretty dry, this method is most effective when you use it everyday for one week in a row.

Mix a bowl of yogurt with the juice of one freshly squeezed lemon and put the mixture on your hair. A cool tool to apply it with could be the lemon peel. You can also try massaging your scalp with it. Leave this citrusy hair mask on your scalp for 10 minutes and then wash it off with shampoo.

8. Apple Cider Vinegar
